Larvotto project

In order to find harmony between the colossal Anse du Portier project, which combines luxury and excess, the Principality has launched a new challenge in the Larvotto district. With an estimated budget of between 50 and 80 million euros and delivery scheduled for June 2021, the Larvotto seaside site is being renewed with larger commercial areas, more public spaces and a better protected beach.

In fact, the project provides for 15 000 sq.m of public space on the upper promenade including shaded areas, tree islands, a children's play area and a cycle path. As for the commercial surfaces, they will be more qualitative and more attractive, the premises will have a refined and contemporary architecture with, among other things, large glazed surfaces and great modularity to open onto the beach. This will be protected with the creation of breakwaters placed between the existing dikes. From an environmental point of view, 900 sq.m of photovoltaic panels will be installed on the Larvotto promenade to cover 80% of the electricity consumption of the site's public lighting. We also find the installation of electric bicycle charging stations, optimization of water management and intelligent waste management.

The Larvotto redevelopment project signed by architect Renzo Piano will give new life to Avenue Princesse Grace.
